Wednesday 30th December 2009

Well girls, its Wednesday 30th December 2009, another year is rapidly approaching an end, what will 2010 bring?

I must apoligise for my lack of blogging in the last month, I just have not had the time to get on here as often as I would like to have, I will be back in January raring to go, looking forward to the upcoming challenges at Stamping for the Weekend, we have some great things coming in the new year, and may I take this chance to say a huge thank you to every onw who entered our DT Call, and a huge well done to the new DT members, i am looking forward to working with you and getting to know you a lot better.

I would also like to say a huge thank you to each and everyone of you who read my blog and take the time to cooment, it is greatly appreciaited.

Anyway better move and see what my little boys are upto, I don't think I'll get a chance to get on tomorrow so I just want to finish off by wishing each and every one of you out there in blog land a Very Happy New Year xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Stampin For The Weekend

Finally I make it back into blog land, what with Swine Flu, christmas cards, shopping, school concerts and all the other christmas activiteis that are on at the mement, I think I can finally see some light at the end of the tunnel, YIPPEE.

Todays card is my DT card for this weeks challenge over at stampin for the weekend, girls I got to say its great to be back joining you all again. This week we were given CHRISTMAS with a BLUE & BROWN colour theme, made me scratch my head i can tell you, so after several failed attempts came up with this.

Sorry for absence

Morning Ladies,

Just a quick post to apoligise for my absence again, but my yougest son and myself have been poorly and yesterday we had it confirmed that he has swine flu, so I'm not going to be around for a week or so, until we are both fully over it and fitting fit again.

It's time for Stamping For The Weekend again...

Oh me, I can hardly believe it's Friday again and the last day of the tattie holidays up here in the north east of Scotland, and its time for a new challenge over at Stamping For The Weekend, and this week we want to see your Fangtastic creations for Halloween.

We're Back !!!! at Stampin For The Weekend

YIPPEE YIPPEE- We are back and off to a fantastic start over at Stampin for the Weekend. We had to take a couple of weeks off for some personal reasons, but are now back with a fabulous challenge.
I can't believe that Summer is over and the colder, windy days of Autumn are upon us, although I do love the colours of the trees,and Kimmi has eased us into the swing of things again with a fantastic colour combo this week.


Now don't those colours just say Autumn to you.

Sketch Saturday #71

I loved this sketch the minute I saw it and just and to make a card with it this week, am trying to push my way through with the christmas cards, and seem to be getting there slowly!!!

The sketch I have used is from Sketch Saturday, and the stamp is from the new Home Grown collection of christmas country cousins over at Sugar Nellie(Funky Kits Online), just had to ink them all up and get them coloured.

Manga Christmas

I thought as Stampin for the weekend doesn't resume normal service until next Friday, yes girls Friday 9th October, we are back with all guns blazing next Friday mark your calenders and diaries and be sure to join in again, it'll be great to see you all back taking part in the challenges, that I'd share this card with you,

It all came about after a visit to a friend whois also a crafter and she was having problems getting her measurements to work out, so all the way home in the car it was playing in the back of my mind, so that evening I put the boys to bed and this is what I came up with, worked it all out by myself, (never thought of actually looking on line for the measurements until hubby said why didn't you just search for it) ah well it worked and I had fun.

Friday already where has the time gone

Girls, I can't believe I've not blogged in over a week, oh me thats just not good enough, been hectic here, too many things going on and not enough time, not crafted much this week either.
Adam has just come back from his belt test at TaeKwanDo and has been promoted to 7th Kup, yellow belt with green stripe, he really enjoys it and seems to be quite good at it, so hopefully it's something he can keep up when he's solder.
Right off to colour in some images and try and put this card together.

Manga Christmas

The much eagerly awaitied Manga Christmas images are now available over at Funky Kits, go get them girls, I ordered mine this morning and they are already dispatched and winging their way towards me as I speak, thankfully no postal strike here in Scotland so hopeful they will be with me tomorrow.

Nothing much happening with us at the moment, Errol started painting our en suite so mayhem reigns again. LOL, but I know it'll be worth it in the end.

Stamping For The Weekend Challenge 15

Another week already, this week has disappeared before my eyes, jury duty and our bedrrom getting decorated and new carpets all in one week has taken its toll on my crafting, ah well it's over and done with now, all bar the final tidy up.

Stampin FOr The Weekend Wk 14

Well Ladies, I know I'm a bit late in posting this but better late than never, it's been one of those days today, never mind, once I've done this I'm off to chill in the bath and have an early night.

SFTW Week 13

Evening Ladies, Well I've made a card or two over the last few days, still not feeling 100% but a lot better than I was, well anything would be an improvement to be honest.

Hi Ladies,
I am still here, just not had much chance to blog lately, i have a few cards to share but at the moment with DH being back from work, the kids being back to school and after school activities I don't seem to be able to grab 5 minutes to myself, added to that yesterday I started to feel ill, got a sore throat, it hurts when I swollow, then today got a headache, and sore eyes to go with the sore throat, never mind I've had a real do nothing day today, hopefully be back blogging soon.
Don't forget to pop over to Stamping for The Weekend tomorrow for a new challenge, this ones great, I've got a card ready for this challenge, even though I don't offically start on the DT until 4th September, looking forward to getting on with the challenges, believe me they are fab, you are going to love them

The Sugar Bowl #17

It's been a few weeks since I have managed to join in with the challenges at the sugar bowl, so thought it was about time I took part again, this weeks it's a sketch by the very talented Judy, and it's a fab one, I have loved playing with this sketch, theres also the added extra of being asked to throw all our prima flowers out for the week and make out own flowers, which I have done for a change.

Passion for Promarkers 13

Well it's Friday again, the nights are drawing in as my mother would say, not that I'm complaining I love Autumn, all the colours and the long dark evenings, p[erfect for crafting in front of the fire.

Todays card I have made for the Passion for Promarkers challenge, which this week is to use Prussian and Pumpkin, well that automatically made me think of Halloween, and was amazed when on Tuesday they asked us to use halloween theme too, something a little spooky going on there, anyway heres my card......

My Baby Has Started School

Can't believe it, my baby has started school, no tears today from either of us, he strolled off with his teacher(who is fab I have to say), as he did he turned round and waved and shouter bye mum see you in a wee whilie.
