Mrs Mac is trying to get this under way and a lucky 16 will receive a new Diana Dude stamp to play with in this blog hop, if you've not seen or heard about this get on over to split coast stampers and have a lookie, heres what MRs Mac had to say....

Well it's a first for us as we have not come across many blog hops in the UK, but we are willing to give this a try, it sounds like a lot of fun and I am always looking at ways of getting new designers to come out and play.I have one complimentary new release stamp by Diane Duda to send out to 16crafters who want to join in the fun. Please make a card or paper creation and post it on the top of your blog for Friday 19th June.A little detail of how you made it, what your used etc is appreciated. If chosen, you will link to the next blog on the list and the hop skip and jump around blog land will start. If there are any more details I will add them here and on the blogwww.sugarnellie.blogspot.comIf you wish to be chosen please leave a comment on the SN blog post.I will send out the stamps tomorrow which gives international crafters plenty of time also.

Well I had to have a bash and this is what I came up with .....

My Card Receipe.......

Ingredients

Snowflake Image from Sugar
Coloured with - Copic Markers
DP - DCWV Christmas Stack from last year
Selection of Card Stock to coordinate with DP
Strong Glue
Silver Ribbon
Memento Ink Pad

Method ;

  • Cut and decorate the cardstock with rubber stamps and emboss if required. Used circle nestabilities and cuttlebug to cut out 20 circles.
  • Mark and score your circle to fold into equilatral triangles.
  • Start gluing five of the triangles together so that the tips of the triangle are together in the center.
  • This forms the top of the globe. Make another to form the base of the globe
  • To make the middle of the globe, glue the remaining ten triangles together. These are glued together alternately, so the tip of a triangle is facing the top on one and the base on the next.
  • When the triangles have all been glued together, join the first and last together
  • To finish the ornament, glue the base and the top onto the center band. Add a ribbon to hang the globe or some beads or other decorations to finish!

Well I had fun making this, don't think I've done one of these since I was at primary school and that wasn't today or yesterday by any stretch of the imagination.

Thanks for looking.
