Its Horrible Outside

Ok, I've seen enough snow to last me a lifetime, we've just spent the afternoon and had tea up at my mums, around 30ish miles from home, and the drive home was horrible, it snowed right up until about 3 miles from home, it was dark, couldn't see very well and we discovered a few weeks back our car isn't good in the snow, i could feel my heart pounding so fast, but we are home safe and dry.
Thought it was time I tried to blog more than once a week, and get myself back into it after the festivites, and before my diet starts (never start on 1st Jan as theres way too much temptations in the house, wait till Feburary when I've enjoyed polishing it off)
Well I made this card a couple of nights ago and thought I'd like to share it with you all today.

Used to Make This Card
Image - Raven from Sugar Nellie (Funky Kits)
Coloured with - Promakers
DP - Bloom and Grow MME
Sentiment - Stamping Up

Also used, Nestabilites, Cuttlebug, Daisy Punches, L-em Branch Punch, MS Border Punch.
I seem to be getting a bit addicited to these, and my box that stores them has now been replaced with a bigger one.
I was blog hopping earlier, and came across this picture of the fab new Tim Holtz Distress Ink Colours that have been launced at CHA this week, got to admit this is another bit of an addiction I have started playing with, still practising but getting there slowly with them, can't wait to get my inky little mitts on them.

Anyway off to see what I can get upto now.

Have a great weekend, and stay safe and warm

Hugs, Fiona xxx

At least Raven looks lovely and cosy in her warm clothes. Love the colours you've used Fiona and these papers are a favourite with me too. I must have missed yesterday's card with Elise - she is so sweet- I am very tempted. I've been catching up with blogs all night after I got my DT cards organised and a post scheduled for tomorrow for the 1st challenge at Just Cute Bears.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Hi Fiona,
Your card is gorgeous. Wonderful colours and papers and the image is very well done.
We've just got rid of the snow in Kinross and I was glad to see the back of it. You have my sympathy.
Hugs,
Fiona x

Gorgeous card Fiona. The papers and colours are fab and she is lovely. (I have a bit of a Sugar Nellie addiction going on myself!)Every sympathy on the snow- we had a fair amount in Yorkshire up until last week and I'm praying we don't see anymore.

A gorgeous card! I love the image, and the papers, and that punched border looks fab!
Hope the snow doesn't cause you too much disruption. We've got rid of it here, but I'd rather the snow than the rain!
Love, Andrea xx

I like Raven too. The snow has long gone down South thankfully as it was causing chaos not to mention coldness.
