NO card yet !!!

Yes no cards to share today, just a wee post to say I've been inking and colouring and have a couple lined up for next weeks posts , and am hoping to get another one done as well, went to craft group last night for the first time in ages and sat and coloured up some more stamps I've had for ages that had never been out the packet, and am heading to bead class tomorrow night, am looking forward to going back to that as well xx

OH yeah and I had a wee trip to The Papertrie yesterday and have invested in a new Cuttlebug, was a tough decision to be honest but the fact it folds nice nad neatly for carrying round is what swung it really, oh yeah and the super low price as well, now just to get use to the new style bug

The Sugar Bowl

Ok girls don't be shocked I have another posting to share with you all today, I know I can't keep up to one a day but I am aiming at 3 or 4 a week, trying to restock my boxes of cards for all occasions.

I haven't joined in over at THE SUGAR BOWL for ages so thought new year is the perfect time to start playing along again, after all I do have a lovely collection of sweet rubber.

So heres what I came up with for the current challenge which ends this week.

The added challenge was to use no shop bought papers, so out came the white cards stock and the cuttlebug, embossing folders and dies.

Out came Angelica, again is one thats been in my stash since it was released and only just been inked and coloured this week, I will use them all, I will, and Yes I will add to my collection of rubber sweets.

Used to make my card were...

Image - Angelica from Sugar Nellie
Coloured with Fleximarkers and Promarkers
White cardstock - The Papertrie @ Dyce
Green Cardstock - Coredinations
Ribbon - Local shop
Butterfly Die - Memory Box (I Love these dies)
Cuttlebug and Embossing folder

I have left the sentiment off the card at the moment.

I think i might just have to purchase a few more memory box dies as they cut so well. LOL, well thats my excuse anyway.

Thanks for looking and if you not yet joined the fun at the SUGAR BOWL please come on over and join us.

Sketch n Stash * Wk 2 Sundays with Santa

Morning Ladies, Sunday already this weekend has flown past, had a lovely day out visiting family yesterday, but today its to be a me day, (well with the exception of a quick nip to Tesco), I need to make a Baby Card and a Wedding card this week so its heads down and crack on.

Anyway as its Sunday that means its time to share my new Sundays with Santa card, this week the theme was

 TRADITIONAL COLOURS

So this is what I came up with....

I have used the sketch this week provided over at Sketch n Stash

Again I have been so bad this image from SUGAR NELLIE is another one I have had in my stash for months and not seen ink until this week when I started to put this one together.

Used to make this card were ..

Image - Knitted with Love from Sugar Nellie
Coloured with - Promarkers
Sentiment - Personnal Impression
DP - A freebie from a Magazine
Seam Binding - Coloured with Promarkers to match
Nesties, embossing folder and Su punches

I have to admit I do love this little image, since taking the piccies I have added Glamour Dust to her wings, cause christmas wouldn't be christmas without a little bit of sparkle.

Thanks for looking

Sunday Sketch and Stamp

OH its good to be back bloggin again, fingers crossed life stays as it is and doesn't get any madder, although once school runs start again on Monday things will be back to normal and life is crazy with two boys to taxi here, there and everywhere, but I am determined to stick to the diet, the exercise routine and my cards.

Its a lovely day here in the North East for the time of year it should be freezing, wet and even snowy, but its not so all is great. Heading out with the boys in a bit to visit the in laws, so quickly getting my card posted before going out.

Todays card is using yet another stamp I've had in my stash since the Artstamps show in Edinburgh way back in June, and shamefully this is the first time it has seen ink and colour, and yes i do have a few other ones from the same collection still unopened, I am trying to use all my goodies before the other half realises how much i got that hasn't been used LOL.

Yes its from the Tatty button collection, oh to have legs like that.

I have to also confess to having a huge love for seam binding, i normally just but a huge amount of white or ivory and colour it with my faithful promarkers to co-ordinate with my papers and image.

The sentiment comes from a CC design set I have had for many years but it fits the image just perfectly.

I have used the sketch provided by Sunday Sketch n Stamp

A wee close up on my beloved Seam binding.

Used for making this card....

Image - Tatty Button Rainy Days
Sentiment - CC Designs
Coloured with - Promarkers and Fleximarkers
Papers - Bo Bunny
Seam Bindng
Card Candi
Coredinations card stock
White card - The papertrie @ Dyce

Right then off to get the boys organised, thanks for popping by.

Have a great Weekend

52 Xmas Cards - Anything Goes & Wk 1 Sundays with Santa & Crafters Companion Monthly Challenge

Happy Friday girls, well it is here as it's the boys last day of their school holidays, and boy am I looking forward to Monday morning, althought the peace and quiet will not be enjoyed to much as its back to the gym for me three mornings a week, last year i lost three stones in the final six months of the year and have already started back on my diet plan and aim to loss a few more stone this year, hopefully a couple of stone before we head to the sun in April.

Anyway onto the card I am sharing today, we have a wee group of crafty minded people on facebook that want to get ahead with our christmas cards so there was a group set up called Sundays with Santa, and YES we have started on this years christmas cards, we were broken in gently on week 1 with the theme of "ANYTHING GOES"

So heres my card for this weeks theme.......

I have to admit to having inked and stamped up this image to use for 2011 cards, but time ran away and it never saw any colour, so it was time to sort that out, out came my promarkers and flexis and a few spectrum noirs and I had a bash and this is what I came up with.

I have to admit i have had these Swalk images since they were released, (all of them) and this is the first time they've been coloured, ah well I've got all year to play with the rest, but I know come September/October I'll be buying this years christmas images and I'll end up keeping them until 2013 LOL.

Got to admit this little couple are very cute.

Used to create my card were

Image - Swalk from Crafters Companion
Coloured with - Combination of Promarkers/Fleximarkers and Spectrum Noirs
Card Stock - The papertrie @ Dyce
Cuttlebug
Embossing folders and a couple of Marianne dies.

I am also going to submit this card into 52 Weeks challenge which this week is also ANYTHING GOES,
and also Crafters Companion Monthly which is LOVE IS IN THE AIR.

Sadly I think my poor wee Cuttlebug is on its last legs, but as its a first generation one I can understand that its had its day and its served me well, now to decide to what to replace it with a new cuttle or a bigshot and short of leaning towards the big shot, but am in no hurry to replace it so will look around and see.

Anyway best move and feed my children.

Thanks for looking
