LOTV Birthday Bear

Ok I have finally given in and purchased some LOTV stamps, kept telling myself I really didn't need any more, but I went looking for a martial arts boys stamp and of course I found the LOTV release and well I had to have another few whilst there, all from their male sets, so looking for an excuse to use them wasn't hard when one of my boys came home with a party invite, for a wee boys 7th birthday party, so I let Conner have a rummage in the stamp box and this is the one he wanted to use, I think the 7 swung it for him.

I let him choose all the colours as well since it was for his best friend, who i think you can guess is called Ben, lol.

Used to make this card...

Image - Lily of the Valley Birthday Bear
Coloured with - Promarkers
Cardstock - The Papertrae
Sentiment - Personal Impressions
Letters cut using sizzlets and cuttlebug.

I love the colours and I have to say Conners your choices turned out quite awesome, and Bens mummy said he loved having his name on a card, and it had pride of place on the fireplace.

Anyway better move, its getting late and the Conner has his school trip tomorrow so need to have an earlier than normal start

Hugs

A couple of piccies from the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun day

A couple of weeks ago I and some friends went along to the Papertrie in Dyce for Kath, Debbi and Annes, Girls just want to have fun day. And boy did we have fun.

Heres a piccie of the talented Anne with her no sew inky bag that we all made, mine is currently pride of place hanging on my craft room wall.

Heres some of the girls applying their fabric to their bags, it was so easy and we finished in record time which meant we got first dibs on the lunch table, hahaha.

This is my dear friend Linda proudly showing her bag off.

Now I know Debbi will be after me for these pictures, she did request that I airbrush them but sorry Debs I ain't clued up on that side on the photoshopping software, so heres our Debz in full swing with the promarkers.

Now I sneaked this picture I did try and get Mrs Sugar Nellies picture but I am sure she has a built in camera radar as she just kept moving, Erika on the other hand was so carried away getting inky with Kath that we managed to snap her piccie

Well I know I'm in trouble for posting this one, but Linda I just had to I couldn't resisit haha

And finally I thought I'd share my creeation from Kaths table, this was an all new experience and I have to admit I rather liked it lol, and will defo be having another bash at this type of altered art again x

Sugar Nellie for Facebook

Good Afternoon Ladies, firstly I must apoligise for not blogging much recently just don't seem to have managed to sqeeze it in at all, I have hopped around the usual blogs keeping up to date with the gossip in the crafty world but thats been about it, I have still managed time to play with my crafty stash and add quite a few bits and pieces to it over the last few weeks.

We still have the weekly challenge running over on FACEBOOK, so if you've not yet joined our community over their to keep up with the latest gossip from the home of the sweetest stamps in Scotland, come on over and join us, the lucky winner choosen by Random.org every week gets to choose 1 Sugar Nellie stamp of their choice from Funky Kits.

Anyway the card I want to share today is the one I made for this weeks challenge which is

MORE THAN 1 FOLD

It can be any shape, size, and have as mnay folds in it as you choice (as long as its 2 or more lol) and you must use a SUGAR NELLIE image, it can be from any range you wish to use, Sassys, Gorgeous Girls(original Sugar Nellie ones only), Elisabeth Belles, Mary Halls, Homegrown, Manga, any of them at all the choice on the image to use is yours.

This wee I went with one of the Sassy girls from ther Steampunk collection, but have choosen to do her in Classic greys and blacks, was sort of thinking it might be for my nieces 18th birthday in a couple of months (oh me I feel so old to have an 18 year old niece), so enough waffling and heres my card........

Goodies used to create this card

Coloured with - Promarkers
SP - GCD Paris Nights
Sentiment -
USed Cuttlebug, Nesties, Ek Success flower punches,Dienamic die, MS Leaf punch and a little bling to finish

I love this girl, shes so sophisticated and I can see her coming in very useful for the older girls out there, prom nights and special birthdays.

Anyway better move Adams got golf lessons in 20 minutes so better go chase him out the door.

Thanks for looking
