Good Morning girls, Tuesday already and the kids up here are off on Easter holidays, having a quiet day today and got to finish packing bags as we're off down south with the kids for a few days, got to leave some shopping in the fridge as my brother in law is coming to stay and feed the pets, ah well as long as theres cat food I am guessing my BIL will survive hahaha.
Today I am sharing my Less is More card with you, Chrissie and Mandi are doing a stunning job with their new challenge blog, can't believe it's only been running for 9 weeks, they have so many talented entries every week, and a real community spirit is growing over there.
This week the girls set us the challenge of "A Touch Of Red"
Red use to be a colour I always stayed clear off but lately I have had a change of mind, and have fallen for red in a big style, as you will notice if you read back my blog theres a lot of red popping up. Anyway heres my card for this week.....
Used to make this card...
Image - Delicate blooms from Hero Arts
Sentiment - Hobby Arts
DP - Vintage Family stack from Simply Create
Moss Promarker
I have to fess up to owning these stamps for months and this is the first time they've ink, I know its naughty but at least now they've been inked several times to create the depth in the flowers, I love this set and have seen it used lots on other talented peoples blogs, and I have to say I am quite pleased with the finished card.
The photo above I think shows how the depth has been acheived by stamping and layering the blooms on the poppies several times and layering them using pinflair glue.
Well that my Touch of Red and Less is More this week.
Thanks for looking, I hope you like it
Hugs

"Less is More"
I love seeing everyone's entries each week for less is more. I'm not doing the challenges as I simply have too much many DT things to keep up with, and as you know my health isn't at it's best. But love looking at your cards, and Janes each week, and some of the other entrants too!
This card is exceptional sweety! I love the paper peicing, and the BP you have used is just perfect for the stamp you have used.

A totally stunning card - can't believe you've had those stamps for a few weeks before inking them up
Can't believe this is the first time you've used this stamp when you've had it for a while...some how I think you'll be using it more regularly now - your card is brilliant, Jx
Recognised that stamp right away Fiona!! I thought you would have had it inked up long before now LOL!! You`ve done a grand job there our Fi. I`m ashamed to say I`ve fallen way behind with my cards ect but there seems to be such a lot going on just now can`t seem to concentrate on doing any. Hope I get things back to normality soon.
Gorgeous card Fiona. I love that stamp, one of my favourites. I got it last year and I've used it lots of times. I'm really enjoying the Less is More challenge too.
