Another Facebook Sugar Nellie Weekly Challenge

I am trying to catch up girls, bare with me I will get there slowly, doesn't help that the laptop is in the repair shop we had the blue screen of death and have no idea why or how, so it got packed off to repair men, currently waiting on a call to say its fixed, so I have to keep running up and down stairs to use the other PC.

Anyway last weeks challenge was a MALE card, I know you all hate them but I have to say those girls who made cards for the challenge priduced some outstanding cards, you can do them I know you can, I made this one but never got a chance to load it up until now so here was my sample to try and inspire you all....

Used to make this card were

Image - Manga Rocker Boy from Sugar Nellie/Funky Kits
Coloured with - Promarkers
Sentiments - Visible Image
DP - Made my own using Inkadinkdoo Rick Star Set of clear stamps
Cardstock - the paperterie

I think this little guy is perfect for all the dads out there who totally rock at being the coolest best dad in the world, lol, if only my hubby could play the guitar he's shine even more in Adams eyes than he already does.

Anyway better move off this chair and get some tidying done my brother in law and his wife are coming to visit today from London, we've been in this house 7 years past and this will be their first visit, then tomorrow I'm off to the Paperterie to spend the day with the GIRLS WHO JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN, I am sure I will come back with loads of stories and hopefully piccies too if i remember to pick up the camera xxx

Sugar Nellie on Facebook, Challenges

Oh me girls, I have no idea where this month has gone, but can't believe that we are at the end of May already, its acary this year is flying past us sooooo quickly, anyway as you know I've been setting the girls on our FACEBOOK page a challenge weekly and have been falling way behind in my blogging this month so I am going to load a batch of piccies up just now and try to catch up with all the goings on in blog land as well,

I have recently set them the challenge of saying THANK YOU and as we in Scotland only have another 5 weeks before the summer break I thought it was the perfect excuse for me to start on the teachers cards, Conners teacher is first I think being a young teacher she will love the sassy images so I just had to use this image.......

Used to create my card were..

Image - High School Student (Simply Sassy) from Sugar Nellie/Funky Kits
Coloured with - Promarkers
Card stock - Bazzil
White card - The paperteire
Sentiment stamp - Stampendious
Ribbon - From a very messy ribbon box (ooops)

I love this image, she's just perfect for these dreaded teacher cards, every year I have the same issue what to use, but alas no more, THANKS Karen xx

Ok thats one post done off to see if I can squueze in one for tomorrow while I'm here

Right thought I better get back into action and fill in the rest of the info to match these random piccies that appeared on Sunday, I posted it and forgot to come back with my usual ramblings and details of the challenge, and here was me thinking I had got it all organised (OOOPPS) ah well I live and learn for next time hahahaha.

This week over on our Sugar Addicted Facebook page - Sugar Nellie on Facebook, theres a new challenge open and this week I set the challenge make a card using squares, I set the optional challenge to use up some of the scraps from your box of papers, as I am sure you all have a big box of them as I know I do (haha). I am sure some of you will recognise the papers from a card a few weeks ago.

I am loving the mixture of red and yellow just now, its a lovely sunny vibrant combination, and it just seems to match the fantastic sunny weather we are all enjoying right now.

Used to make this card ..

Image - Rapunzel from Simply Sassy at Sugar Nellie
Coloured with - Promarkers
DP - Scraps from a My Minds Eye Kit
Cardstock - All from the Paperterie (Aberdeen)
Sentiment - A claear Set can't remember which one at the mo.
Cuttlebug, Nesties and SU punches

Right then off to tackle a few jobs around the house before the boys get up for the day, they are off again today for a teacher training day, and then its Parents Evenign tomorrow, although from the fantastic reports they both got, I don't think I've got any worries about them. xxx

Thanks for looking
